Let's see, what's in the company kitchen?
How about some Smart Balance butter-substitute on a low-carb bagel, washed down with a quick latte - decaf espresso, fat-free half-and-half, and splenda?

I feel more plastic already.

I should really have noted that this was a purely hypothetical meal assembled from the worst the kitchen had to offer. I had a real-ish (K-cup) coffee and a banana instead.

fat-free half-n-half isn't so bad - it's basically skim milk concentrate :)

Umm, ew. While I can deal with the butter substitute and the splenda. The low carb sounds cardboardy and decaf is a sin.

I think it's the butter substitute that gets me. How do you know it's not a petroleum product?

And Splenda... I just don't understand. "made from sugar but it's not sugar". How does that make it less bad for you?
